Prerequisites: None. However, students who have worked on a personal computer and used a mouse and keyboard will feel more comfortable.

Fee:

This half-day course (or prior knowledge of the concepts taught within) is the prerequisite for all other Introduction or Level 1 courses, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint®, etc. The following will be reviewed:

introduction to the Windows® Desktop
using the left and right mouse buttons, including click, double-click, drag, and right-click commands
utilizing the taskbar and start menu
working with My Computer and the folder hierarchy
creating, saving, and opening files
moving and/or copying files and folders using cut, copy, and paste
