General Information Managers must be ready to meet challenges related to technology, globalization, workplace diversity and more. Designed for working adults, the Certified Manager (CM) Program at The Ohio State University offers you the chance to meet these workplace challenges and prepare for the CM exams. Certification is becoming the single most important means of assuring management competencies and the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM), the world’s largest certifying organization for management professionals, confers the Certified Manager, or "CM," designation on those who meet education and experience requirements and pass three examinations. This professional recognition documents skills in a wide variety of areas and confirms your management competencies. Through Ohio State’s CM Program you will experience application-based learning that includes:
Ohio State’s CM Program includes the following three exam prep courses that meet one evening a week for eight weeks over three quarters:
A one time only nonrefundable fee of $395 (includes application and all exam fees) is charged separately and is payable to "ICPM". Visit icpm.biz to view and download the application form. A full refund, less an $85 processing fee, will be issued for cancellations received in writing at least five (5) business/working days before a class in which you are enrolled begins. Participant substitutions may be made at any time. If a class is cancelled by the Office of Continuing Education, registrants will receive a full refund. Click here for registration information.
