Affecting Positive Change

Many well-intentioned and necessary change initiatives fail to take root due to an absence of a systematic way to design and implement the change process. Such failures create employee cynicism and generate resistance to subsequent attempts at organizational improvement. This course will examine an eight-stage process for effecting positive change developed by John P. Kotter at Harvard Business School. Participants will be encouraged to discuss how steps in the model relate to their current work situations. 8 hours (Textbook required)
