The Center for Family Research (CFR) exists as a coalition of OSU faculty members, students, and staff -- representing the colleges of Education and Human Ecology, Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, Law, Medicine, Social/Behavioral Sciences, and Social Work -- who have interest and expertise in research, assessment, and treatment efforts as they relate to the family, with particular emphasis on the family’s role in the development and well-being of children and adolescents.  Ohio State University's Center for Family Research hosted a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 21, 2007 at the Center of Science and Industry, where the CFR maintains its offices.
