Often, large lectures are augmented with numerous recitation (R) and/or lab (B) sections. In these cases, the lecture (L) will be listed without a call number or with a five-digit number followed by an “-A,” (e.g., 03976-A). These five-digit-A numbers are not full call numbers. The proper call number will always have six digits (e.g., 03977-9). Below the lecture will be listed the recitations, labs, or pairings of recitations and labs that go with the lecture, and each one of these will have a six-digit call number. In the example above, call number 03977-9 represents the Friday recitation at 8:30 a.m. in MP 1005 linked to the Wednesday lab at 8:30-11:18 a.m. in
CE 0310. Call number 03979-0 represents the Friday recitation at 8:30 a.m. in MP 1040 linked to the Wednesday lab at 8:30-11:18 a.m. in CE 0360. Both call numbers go with the lecture on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30-9:48 a.m. in MP 1000. (Please see the visual representation below for additional guidance.)
