TUITION AND DISCOUNTS

Tuition
The total cost of the program is $4,950.  The program is offered as a six-course package.  The program price includes:

  • tuition for all six courses (includes Comprehensive Review Course)
  • course texts and study materials
  • university parking permits

Students may purchase individual courses on a space-available basis at $975 per course (price includes texts, study materials and university parking permit).  Once paid, the $975 price cannot be refunded. Interested students should contact the program’s Academic Director for additional information.

Discounts
The following discounts on the full six-course program tuition are available:

  • $300 discount for an active member of the central Ohio chapter of the Financial Planning Association
  • $300 discount per person for three (3) or more persons from the same local office of an organization
  • $300 discount for a person who registers for the 2009 program cycle before November 1, 2008; only the $1,500 deposit need be paid at registration to qualify for this discount.

Each registrant is eligible to use only one qualifying discount on each program cycle.

 


 

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and CFP (with flame logo)®, which it awards to individuals who successfully complete initial and ongoing certification requirements.

The Ohio State University does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and CFP (with flame logo)® certification marks. CFP certification is granted only by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to those persons who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met its ethics, experience, and examination requirements.

Continuing Education non-credit course discounts do not apply to courses in the CFP® Certification Education Program.
