2010 COURSE SCHEDULE

Cleveland

CLEVELAND LOCATION:

Courses in the Accelerated CFP® Certification Education Program will meet in Cleveland for the classroom-instruction segment on the following schedule:

  • Financial Planning Process and Insurance: March 14–17, 2010
  • Income Tax Planning: April 22-25, 2010
  • Employee Benefit and Retirement Planning: June 10-13, 2010
  • Investment Planning: July 22–25, 2010
  • Estate Planning: September 9–12, 2010
  • Comprehensive Review Course: November 3–7, 2010

Each four-day class meets 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Classes will be held at the: Embassy Suites Cleveland - Rockside, 5800 Rockside Woods Blvd., Independence, OH 44131. Parking is free. Overnight accommodations for our group are $129 per night for a double/double or king room.

 

COLUMBUS LOCATION:

  • Financial Planning Process and Insurance: March 10–13, 2010
  • Income Tax Planning: April 17–20, 2010
  • Employee Benefit and Retirement Planning: June 3–6, 2010
  • Investment Planning: July 8–11, 2010
  • Estate Planning: August 19–22, 2010
  • Comprehensive Review Course: September 29–October 3, 2010

Each four-day class meets 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Classes are held in the Office of Continuing Education, Mount Hall, 1050 Carmack Road on The Ohio State University’s West Campus in Columbus.  Classrooms are designed for adult education. Convenient parking is available.

Students who satisfactorily complete the five regular courses of the 2010 program cycle (first five courses listed above) will have met the education requirements to take the November 2010 CFP® Certification Exam.

 



 

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and CFP (with flame logo)®, which it awards to individuals who successfully complete initial and ongoing certification requirements.

The Ohio State University does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and CFP (with flame logo)® certification marks. CFP certification is granted only by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to those persons who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met its ethics, experience, and examination requirements.

Continuing Education non-credit course discounts do not apply to courses in the CFP® Certification Education Program.
